Managed service

We don't just host your site. We look after it.

ElasticWP isn't a self-serve platform. The managed element is a real service layer — we actively look after each client's WordPress site on their behalf.

Scope boundary

We manage the hosting environment. Code changes, design work and development remain your responsibility.

The three pillars

What “managed” means in practice

01

Monitoring

Uptime monitored every 5 minutes on Managed, every 2 on Managed+, with alerts triggered automatically on any downtime event. Managed+ clients also get a monthly performance & uptime report.

02

Security patching

Automatic WordPress core and plugin updates, vulnerability detection, and daily malware scanning. Managed+ adds Patchstack, an active firewall that blocks known exploits before they reach the site.

03

Backups

Daily backups with 30-day retention on both plans. On Managed, you or we restore on request; on Managed+, we carry out the restore for you — no effort required on your part.

Also included

On both plans

Staging environment

A safe space to test changes before they go live.

Migration included

Automated on Managed, manual with dedicated support on Managed+.

Why it's different

How we talk about this

We handle the technical side — updates, security, backups — so you never have to think about it.
We catch problems before you notice them, and we fix them for you — not just alert you.
They give you the tools to manage your site. We manage it for you. There's a difference.
On Managed+, if you need a restore, you just ask us. No dashboards, no stress.
Underneath it all

Platform-level security by default

Free wildcard SSL, covering all subdomains

DDoS protection, over 1 terabit per second

Web Application Firewall & PCI-compliant servers

ISO27001:2013 certified data centres
