When you use ElasticWP, we collect account details (name, email, billing address), technical data needed to provide hosting (site files, database, email data you choose to host with us), and support interactions.
We use your data to provide and monitor the hosting service, process billing, respond to support requests, and send service-related communications. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Our website uses essential cookies to keep you logged in to StackCP, and optional analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser at any time.
We share data only where necessary to deliver the service — for example, with payment processors for billing, or with security vendors such as our malware scanning and firewall providers.
Account and billing data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a period required for tax and accounting purposes. Hosted site data is retained for 14 days after account closure, then deleted.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
We apply the same platform-level security to account data as to hosted sites, including encryption in transit, restricted access controls, and regular security review.
