ElasticWP provides managed WordPress hosting, comprising the hosting environment, platform-level security, and the monitoring, patching and backup service described on our Features and Pricing pages. We manage the hosting environment; code changes and development work on your site remain your responsibility.
Plans are billed monthly, per site, in advance. There are no long-term contracts, and you may cancel at any time; hosting continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not charge overage fees for traffic spikes, as the platform is designed to autoscale automatically.
You agree not to use the service to host unlawful content, distribute malware, send unsolicited bulk email, or attempt to circumvent the security or resource limits of the platform. We may suspend a site that poses a risk to the platform or other customers, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you first.
Daily backups are retained for 30 days on all plans. While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, you remain responsible for maintaining your own copies of anything business-critical.
Free migration is included with every plan. We aim for zero downtime during migration, but recommend keeping your previous hosting active until the migrated site has been verified.
We target 99.99% uptime, measured monthly, and provide service credits for extended outages in line with our published service level agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid for the affected site in the preceding three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, your data is retained for 14 days to allow for export, after which it is permanently deleted.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
